Thieves Burgle female Journalist’s Shop

Suspected thieves on Sunday night attacked Oghior Market in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State and burgled a shop owned by our Reporter,Success Okuchemiya, an Assistant Editor with South South International, a News media organization.

The Journalist and businesswoman said the suspected thieves gained access into her shop inside the market and made away with a mobile phone worth one hundred thousand naira.

Success Okuchemiya an Assistant Editor, further told Journalists in Warri, Delta State that the thieves entered her shop through the ceiling.

While noting that she and other traders pay One thousand naira security fee every month, she insisted that the Security Operatives on duty must be held responsible for the damages and lost suffered by traders as a result of the ugly incident.

Meanwhile, the incident has been reported to the Ovwian/Aladja Police Station. When the DPO of Ovwian/ Aladja was contacted, he could not be reached but an officer who claimed annoymity said investigation is on-going.
