# ENDSARS Protesters: Tanker set ablaze for crushing teenager to death
Hell was let loose today in Effurun, Delta State as ENDSARS Protesters set a tanker loaded with diesel ablaze for allegedly crushing a teenager to death near the Effurun roundabout in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

South-south gathered that the deceased, is thirteen years of age and was identified as Oghenevwegba.
Eye witness told this Reporter that on sighting the remains of the deceased on the floor, the #ENDSARS Protesters set the tanker ablaze even as the driver ran for safety.
It was also gathered that Hoodlums took advantages of the process to invade the Delta Shopping Mall(Shoprite) and other business centres in the areas.
It took the swift intervention of Soldiers from the Nigerian Army 3 Battalion to bring the situation under control.
Expressing disatisfaction over the occurance, one of the conveners of the protest, in a chat with our Correspondent said the protesters set the tanker ablaze in expression of their anger over the death of the young boy. Noting that hoodlums hijacked the protests in the process.
Meanwhile, the protest has been temporarily suspended to avert any crisis in the area.
