Majemite hails Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for Quality leadership, Good Governance in One Year
Delta State State governorship aspirant in the last governorship primaries and two time Commissioner, Olorogun Barr. Fred Majemite has hailed the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his first anniversary in office.
Expressing his joy over the weekend, Majemite said in Asaba while talking with Journalists, that he is very excited about the way and manner Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the governor of oil rich Delta State has piloted the affairs of the state in the last one year.
Majemite while commending Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his maturity in handling matters, leadership qualities and excellent spirit in governance called on the citizens of the state as well as those in Diaspora to believe in Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration and give him and members of his cabinet the needed support.
He equally commended the Governor’s road and other Infrastructural projects that he has started.
According to him ” Our governor has done well in terms of Infrastructural projects and human capital development. For instance civil servants got paid their arrears after a long time. Again, the state government had to engage Julius Berger in the Delta State roads construction and it is in tandem with the tenets of Democratic principles. It is also heart warming to all Deltans because people are desirous of seeing the dividends of democratic government, which this government is in a hurry to deliver to our people in Delta State from what I see. For now, it is not yet Uhuru but it is likely that people will get more from the MORE agenda of the Governor
Furthermore the legal icon noted that in no time Deltans will find that God has a hand in the crowning/ election of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori as Governor of Delta State. A reason he said God showed Himself strong in the family by giving Governor Oborevwori the victory.
Majemite who is an advocate of politics without bitterness also called on the PDP family in Delta State to see members of the opposition as their brothers and sisters and equally enjoined the opposition to join hands with the Governor to make Delta State a state that other states would look up to in the not too distant future as an example of industrialization, maritime tourism, agricultural commodities production and center of Nollywood/ entertainment in Nigeria.
