For the first time in the history of College of Education, Warri, a woman emerged as the seventh Provost of the College since its establishment in 1979  no wonder from Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church, PTI Efurun where the thanksgiving held to the College of Education field where  reception was held, the crowd was unbelievable and incredibly marvelous. Everything was celebration galore for the Ighrakpatas as they rolled out the drums to mark the event.

The traditional ruler of Okpe Kingdom, known as the Orodje of Okpe, a first class traditional ruler was among the first parishioners to take his seat in the church. He was followed by many dignitaries like the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, His Deputy Deputy Speaker, Hon Arthur Akpovwowo, chairman of ALGON in Delta state who is also the chairman of Okpe local government area, Hon Isiah, UPU President General worldwide, Chief Barrister Ese Gam Oweh, Olorogun Chief Fred Majemite, Chief Akpotor Dudu, the President General of Eku and  Chief Executive of Ariterix Ranch and Resort amongst others.

The Preacher urged the people to be like the Shulammite Woman. He equally charged the people to live a life of charity and give gratitude or show appreciation at all time.
