For many months the magazine’s editors waited to see what the anti-graft agency would do to the petition written against some directors of the NYSC under the leadership of the former Director General of the scheme Brig-Gen Johnson Olawumi, on how funds generated from the online registration were paid to private accounts. When nothing seem to be coming out from the petition, the magazine’s editor got a clue that some directors of NYSC were sponsored to the United States by an online registration operator. In line with the social responsibility function of the media, investigation began and in line with ethics of the journalism profession, the reporter got across to all the parties concerned via official letters.The head of Media of NYSC for instance said her boss refused to respond to our questions. As at press time, the operative of the on-line registration of Corps members has not also responded to the magazine
