Journalist: Good morning Prophet
Prophet: You can not even stand up to greet me. Don’t you know I am an anointed Prophet with a mandate to pull down strongholds. By the way do you know that I have journalists working for me in their hundreds. How much is your salary that makes you feel so important. If I dash you one olive oil you will become a billionaire in 3 months. Did you not read in the news that I gave my wife a box containing N50m cash on her 50th birthday?
Journalist: Servant of God; I came for an interview not how you can make me a billionaire. I am a contended man Sir
Prophet: Contended my foot. I saw the car you drove here.
Journalist: Thank you. Men can predict but God has the final say. All Glory be to His Holy Name. Can we start the interview please
Prophet: What do you want to interview me on
Journalist: I have watched your church programme and prophetic ministration and discovered that you sell everything people go to Israel to get during Prilgrims, including handkerchief, Jordan water, Mount Oliver water, Moses’ Rod, Elijah’s mantle, and so on.
Prophet: (Cuts in) What is wrong with selling anointed items in the church that help to transform the lives of people.
Journalist: But Jesus in the Synagogue chase away all those who turned His Father’s house/ the temple of God, which represents the church into a market place.
Prophet: Is it your money I used in building this church?
Journalist: No, but it is God’s Sanctuary. The Church is a holy place to serve God in spirit and in truth and in so doing, men are saved by the word of God. Thereafter, fellowship continues among the brethren in praises, worships and prayers.
Prophet: Who is the Man of God here Me or you?
Journalist: We are all followers of Christ and that is why people call us Christians. I am a soldier of Christ too but l am not called and l don’t intend to call myself because the Bible says on the last days many shall come in my name doing miracles but on the judgement day, I will tell them to go behind me, you workers of iniquities.
Prophet: Who is the worker of iniquities here Mr Man?
Journalist: I don’t know but l know there was a time in this same country that we had Jesu of Oyinbo, he had vast properties in Maryland but today hardly would one find a property tied to his name. Not even his ministry. There was another in Victoria Island who owned an Aircraft and yet there was also one in the East who was part of the Otokoto episode. But only God knows who the workers of iniquities are. I am only here to do my job as a Journalist.
Prophet: Have you been paid by Native Doctors or false Prophets to investigate me because I don’t understand this boldness of yours.
Journalist: As a journalist I am the voice of the voiceless and the Judge of the Masses. I have a social responsibility to inform the people of happenings in the society.
Prophet: So you have been paid to watch me and report the things that are happening here?
Journalist: I only want to know if you can also sell God’s land because people alleged that you have sold everything found in the Holy land where Christians go for pilgrims. Sir I want to buy land in Heaven can I buy from you since you speak to God directly.
Prophet: Something tells me that you are a relation of one of the Fathers of Faith- a Prominent Archbishop in Delta State and a son of another Prophet & Reverend also in Warri. Is that true?
Journalist: I introduced myself when l came as a journalist not son of the Archbishop or Reverend Prophet
Prophet: Those who the gods want to destroy they first made to become hardened in heart. You did not see the miracles that I am performing here. It is the anointed items that I sell here to transform lives that caught your attention.
Journalist: The God in me is greater than the gods that people call upon to destroy me. My God is the Holy one of Israel that consumeth the evil ones by FIRE. Sir enough of your threat. If you want to continue with the interview please do but if you want to resort to threat then I will invite the EFCC Chairman to investigate how a Servant of God is richer than his oil producing state. In fact you must be among the 5 Pastors who are amongst the richest Men of God Worldwide. I am amazed that in less than 20 years of your Service in the Vineyard, you are richer than all the top churches of the World – Catholic, Baptist etc. EFCC must hear this
Prophet: Please don’t mention that name here. That name is a mysterious name
Journalist: I will call that name again and again because the Chairman is a more refine Pastor so your days are numbered.
Prophet: Who is there? call my wife
Journalist: Why
Prophet: She is the next General Overseer
Journalist: This is an interpersonal interview I mean one on one interview
Prophet: In that case the interview is over
Journalist: Just like that?
Prophet: Yes, you can leave
Journalist: Thank you but let me tell you without fear that you have turned the alter of God into a business Centre selling blessings like products and unfortunately you are getting gullible people to fall for you paying in Dollars. You use God’s name. Continue to live for yourself and misguide the people. You can deceive the people but you can not deceive God. If you don’t start preaching repentance and make restitution, this your door of wealth and fame will vanish in Jesus Name.
Prophet: I say leave and leave with the FIRE you are carrying.
Journalist: Thank you but repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent like that Evangelist who confessed to killing 700 people before he gave his life to God.
