2015 election and stability in a democratic order
The question of a stable democratic order has seized the imagination of the scholar, journalist and sundry commentators. Especially in Africa. Nigeria is emblematic. Often in this democracy, we swagger about inflating our population as the biggest democracy traversing a mammoth swathe of real estate. We have an exaggerated sense of our being just as we have an outsize sense of our democracy.
