Omoko Oyeye Children in Nigeria and in Diaspora Extol Good Qualities of OKPORUA 1, Ovie of Udu Kingdom

The children of Late Chief Omoko Oyeye, a prominent Urhobo Businessman in the 60s and 70s who brought Aladja Grammar School, the first Secondary School to Udu and instrumental in building of Udu Bridge Kingdom, through the Oyeye Foundation has for the first time in 47 years broken their silence and expressed their full support for His Royal Majesty, Engr. Michael Ogheneovo Orugbo, JP as the OKPORUA 1, Ovie of Udu Kingdom.

In a press statement on behalf of the children and signed by Okposio Desmond Oyeye, chairman, The Oyeye Foundation, enjoined the people of Udu at home and in Diaspora to join hands with the new monarch to bring development to Udu kingdom. According to him, DSC Aladja was the handwork of prominent Udu children including our late father late Chief Omoko Oyeye, Chief D. O Dede,( former federal Permanent Secretary) Late Chief Willson Odibo,
late Major General Ray Matthew Dumudje, late Chief Brume and so on. He says Udu kingdom needs more of such men of old. He emphasised that with the integrity and wide network of the Udu kingdom monarch, his royal Majesty,
Engr. Michael Ogheneovo Orugbo, JP, the OKPORUA 1, Ovie of Udu Kingdom, can galvanize prominent Nigerians and members of the 10th National Assembly to look at loopholes or breaches in the privatization agreement in order to bring the Delta Steel Complex, DSC Aladja back on stream.

The Oyeye children through the Oyeye Foundation, who officially congratulate Engr Orugbo as king of Udu kingdom explained that the Oyeye foundation is a coalition of innovators, scientists and professionals spread across the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Nigeria that is already working for the good of the Urhobo nation, Delta State and the country.

The foundation according to the Oyeyes, after a careful observation of activities going on in Udu kingdom for almost five decades decided to endorse the new king of Udu kingdom because of the good qualities they saw in him and their conviction that the king will remain a beacon of truth and light that will bring about massive turn around in Udu kingdom.
