After over 70 years oil exploration, the Niger Delta region continues to experience crude oil theft. In 2022 Tantita Security Services was brought to help protect Nigeria’s oil pipelines and oil installations.
What does that tell us about the Nigerian Navy? Next month this magazine will be 20 years old on the news shelf/stand. Though the advent of the new media made us re-invent a new circulation strategy which includes customized distribution and so on, it has helped us remain in business.
We shall roll out the drums to mark our 20th anniversary holding in Delta State. We will as usual spoil you a little with an indepth lecture by Sam Omatseye, the erudite historian, columnist, public intelectual and contemporary public affairs analyst of our time. The title is “Leadership, Power and Service in the 21st Century”
The second lecture is “Harnessing Marine and Blue Economy Potentials as New Catalyst for Developing The South South Region”. It will be delivered by Charles Okorefe, PhD of the Nigeria Maritime University, Okorenkoko, Delta State Date: Thursday, November 12,2026
