Peterside Gives NIMASA Staff Cause to Smile
The Governing Board of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) recently approved the promotion of 76 Management Staff of the Agency and hundreds of junior staff to their next grade levels

The promotion of 76 management staff few days to the Christmas was the best gifts to majority of NIMASA staff who had remained in one position for years without promotion. However, the approval at the 34th meeting of the Board held in Lagos from 20th to 21st, December, 2016 under the chairmanship of General Jonathan India Garba (rtd) paved the way for the lingering issue regarding promotion to be put to rest
Curiously, eight Deputy Directors were promoted to the level of Directors, 15 Assistant Directors were promoted to Deputy Directors while 56 grade level 14 officers were promoted to their next grade of Assistant Directors.
