The Editor-in-Chief of South South international Magazine, Ovie Edomi was recently elected the President of the League of Maritime Editors. He contested the position of President of the League with Remi Itie, publisher, Pathways Magazine and Ubon Akpan, Editor-in-Chief, of The Beam magazine and defeated the two other contestants.
Edomi takes over from Wale Oni publisher of Port News and House of Representatives aspirant. Edomi who has over two decades in media practice had worked for The Mail, Punch and TELL magazine for a period spanning over two decades before establishing South South International magazine.
Edomi who is also the Publicity Secretary of the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria, ACSPN,is equally an editorial board member of the Compendium on Senior Advocates of Nigeria,SAN, amongst others has over 300 articles on core national issues to his credit.
